The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has re-signed cornerback Josh Robinson.
Robinson (5-10, 200) played in all 16 games for Tampa Bay last season, topping the team with 12 special teams tackles (all solo). His 12 solo special teams tackles were tied for the third-most in the NFL, while leading a coverage unit that helped the Buccaneers rank third in the NFL in net punting average (42.7).
Robinson joined the Buccaneers after spending his first four seasons with Minnesota (2012-15). A third-round pick (66th overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft, Robinson has played in 53 career regular season games, with 21 starts, recording 146 tackles, three tackles for loss, 15 passes defensed, five interceptions (returned 90 yards) and one forced fumble, along with 22 special teams tackles.
