Hedman left late in the first period and didn’t return. Johnson played into the second before exiting.
Both players sustained lower-body injuries and didn’t return to the game.
Tampa Bay head coach Jon Cooper said following the game it’s possible the Lightning could call up a player from its affiliate in Syracuse because “there’s a good chance” both Hedman and Johnson will miss the Bolts’ game Tuesday in Boston.
Johnson, who was named to his first NHL All-Star Game on Sunday, leads the Lightning in points (45) and assists (29).
Hedman missed 18 games earlier in the season with a fractured finger but has been a regular in the Lightning lineup since returning November 29 versus Ottawa.
Johnson had an assist against Philly before leaving.
